Baila earned a B.S. in Education from Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and Tufts University. she also completed post graduate studies at the University of Oregon to teach art K-12. She has been a professional portrait artist for 34 years and has worked in the French Quarter in New Orleans, and throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada. For the past 20 years she has taught and worked in the Santa Cruz Area, operating quick sketch concessions at Fishermans Wharf and Cannery Row in Monterey, the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, and Great America in San Jose.
